Health care spending as a percentage
of the average person’s income is more
than they can afford. Please click on the

site for info on how they, and I, believe
we should address the health care issue.

After you have reviewed Physicians For Reform, I think you will agree that the best approach to health care reform is not more government involvement. The best approach is to attack each of the problems we face in the health care system, and fix each separately.
One problem that is not mentioned on the Physicians For Reform website is the problem of fraud. Government receives fraudulent claims each year amounting to billions of dollars. These can be divided into two groups. Group one is the billing of nonexistent services, sometimes to nonexistent patients, and sometimes by nonexistent doctors. This category of fraud is what I call “out and out fraud.” This fraud is by people who care nothing about you, me and America. This type of fraud should carry the death penalty. Nothing short of the death penalty will deter people who are willing to gamble time in prison for an easy way of cheating America. The death penalty would put a halt to the majority of this type of fraud, which would release the investigators for the second type of fraud. This second type of fraud is the overbilling of the government and insurance companies of services that were performed. This could be a matter of disagreement, error, or greed. Billions can be saved each year by dealing with fraud.
The National Association of Chiefs of Police’s Fraud and White Collar Crime Committee reports that fraud and corruption already existing in government medical programs already amounts to 30 Billion per year. One can only guess the amount we would have with total government control.

and be in good health, even as your soul prospers.” (3 John 2)
