Tired of the change? Well stand up and be counted. The next midterm election is less than 1 year away, and we need committed conservative Christians to run for all elected positions.
My name is Darrell Day and I am running for the US House of Representatives, 8th District of North Carolina. I need your vote, but also I would like to vote for you. We need Christian business and professional people who will put it all on the line for integrity in Government.
"Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord." Psalm 33:12
The generation of our forefathers who founded America knew more about the Bible and God than any generation since. Our present generation knows less about the Bible than any generation in our history. Seeing the difference in the purpose of the educational institutions of each of the two generations, is the key to understanding the difference in the people of these two generations.
The former appeared to have purpose, security, and blessings in their individual lives and as a nation. This generation is adrift and plagued with uncertainty and lack. Our forefather’s generation embraced the Biblical truth of II Timothy 3:16, "All scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and training in righteousness."
They therefore built all of their universities (Princeton, Harvard, Yale, etc.) and lower educational institutions for the purpose of teaching and spreading the Christian faith. Our generation is committed to the proposition that we have a right to be free from the influence of Christianity. So this generation neither knows God or His word.
If the adage is true that freedom cannot stand apart from Christianity then it is imperative to the Republican Party to fight for both. Our hope must be in the Lord, who said, “This book of the law (Bible) shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it, for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have success." Joshua 1:8.
Our mission must be to help the American people to see the need of trusting God (not government) that they may receive the promises of God. Only then can the Republican Party hope to be an agent of positive change for America. Trying to have an effective conservative government apart from Christianity will not last. Christianity is the glue that holds our free society together.
